Terms of use
These terms govern your use of Cedar: Allergy Patterns. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Personal information tool, not medical care
Cedar is a diary and informational tool. It does not diagnose allergies, identify a medical trigger, predict your symptoms with certainty, provide treatment advice, replace testing, or replace a qualified clinician. Modeled pollen data and personal observations can be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or wrong. Do not use Cedar for emergencies or to make medication or safety decisions. Follow your clinician's care plan.
Cedar Premium subscriptions
Cedar may offer monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store. The price and billing period shown in Cedar are the localized App Store terms that apply to your purchase. If an introductory offer is available, Cedar will show its duration and the full renewal price before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in Apple Account subscription settings.
- Deleting Cedar or deleting local Cedar data does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Apple controls billing, refunds, Family Sharing eligibility, introductory-offer eligibility, renewal, and cancellation. Premium availability may take time to update after a billing change; use Restore Purchases in Cedar if necessary.
Your data and availability
Cedar stores diary information locally on your device and does not provide cloud backup or account recovery. You are responsible for any export or backup you choose to keep. Environmental services, subscription status, and App Store services may occasionally be unavailable. Cedar may change, suspend, or discontinue a feature when necessary for safety, provider requirements, legal compliance, or service operation.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Cedar or its services, interfere with service operation, attempt to obtain provider credentials, automate abusive traffic, reverse engineer protected service components where prohibited by law, or use Cedar in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
Disclaimer and limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Cedar is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that environmental data, observations, reports, or service availability will be complete, accurate, or uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Apple terms
Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to Cedar and is incorporated into these terms. If these Cedar terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, the applicable Apple terms control.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions about these terms can be sent to cedar.allergy.app@gmail.com. Do not include health or location information in a support message.
